MEET THE OWNER, SHAWN MURREY

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur and starting a moving company, Shawn had worked in the insurance industry along with being employed with Discount Tire for over 5 years. Shawn graduated from the University of Toledo in 2019 with a bachelor degree in human resources.

Shawn has always had a determined mindset and knew that he would one day be the person that had employees working for him, rather than being the employee himself. Starting his own moving company came to mind after living in California for 2 years and working for other various moving companies such as Lugg, and Dolly.

When Shawn moved back to Bowling Green, Ohio in 2021 to be with his girlfriend, Kylie of 10 years, he found himself as a newly expecting parent and decided this was the fire he needed to finally start his own.

In February 2023, Murrey’s Movers LLC. was open and ready for business!

Fast forward, Shawn is now a father of 3, and has managed to stay very active and involved with the Bowling Green community, being a part of the local BNI chapter, a member of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Exchange Club. His mission with Murrey’s Movers is to be that go to moving company everyone desires and being the most personable and best moving company based out of Northwest Ohio.
